Condition Rating

This is an overview of our simple, straightforward condition rating scale. Each bag is assessed individually – you’ll find the relevant score in the product details.

1 – As new: This bag shows no visible signs of wear. The leather, hardware and stitching are in immaculate condition – it often still comes with its original packaging, dust bag or certificate of authenticity. A piece that looks as though it has stood the test of time.

2 – Very Good: This bag has been worn with care. There are isolated instances of the finest traces, such as slight scuffing on the hardware, faint indentations or scratches in the leather, which are only noticeable upon closer inspection. The overall impression remains impeccable.

3 – Good: This bag already tells a little story: slight wear on the corners, fine scratches on the hardware or a gentle patina on the leather. Nothing that detracts from its elegance – rather, proof that this piece was lived with and loved before it found its way to you.

4 – Loved: This bag shows clear signs of its history. Visible wear on the corners or chain, a pronounced patina on the leather. That’s exactly what makes it a genuine vintage piece: it has been through a lot long before it reached you. You’ll find all the details clearly shown in the product photos and descriptions.
